Housing for special groups
House for the Blind, Helsinki, Sokeain Ystävät Ry
Sokeain Ystävät Ry, an association for the blind, manages the Helsinki Sokeaintalo-Säätiö foundation and its sturdy house in the Kallio district of Helsinki. The building houses about 50 flats for the blind. The house is undergoing renovation during 2009.
Student housing, Tampere, TOAS
At TOAS, focusing on safety is seen as a selling point and a way to stand out. Young couples who are about to have their first child are often very interested in safety issues. By focusing on safety, we can make our apartments more attracting to them. This will decrease the number of empty apartments meant for students with families.
Halli sheltered housing, Jämsä
Safety hoods equipped with SAFERA safety technology were installed alongside the safety cookers. For anyone in similar circumstances, we would recommend using a combination of a regular cooker and SAFERA safety technology -- because both residents and staff often find safety cookers difficult to use and SAFERA ensures better cooker safety than safety cookers.

Rental housing
Rented housing, Helsinki, Fennia
The first cooker hoods equipped with SAFERA safety technology were delivered to the building in April, 2008. According to a customer service survey, residents were quite pleased with the product and provided support. The managing agency is also happy with the way installation work and related communications were carried out.

Pasilan Visio, staff break room, Helsinki, Fennia
Fennia wanted to ensure that the cooker in the staff break room was not a fire risk. A Savo cooker hood equipped with SAFERA safety technology and a fire extinguisher was installed in the room.
Aalto University, communal kitchen, Espoo
The communal kitchen of the Aalto University Design Factory is shared by diverse group of people, and no designated person is responsible for the safety of the cooker. Therefore, SAFERA Premium was installed to the kitchen to ensure safe cooker use.
